| Localisation: Localisation consists of adapting a document to a particular language and culture with the appropriate local references and other environmental requirements. This service can be of a purely idiomatic linguistic connotation, or may include more specific details such as technical conversions (measurement systems, number and currency formatting, etc.), time zones, gender roles, education equivalencies, and much more. In order to achieve true localisation, a final document should appear to have been produced within the local culture itself. | Cultural adaptation: Cultural adaptation is the process by which, for example, a questionnaire developed for one specific country is adapted for other countries that use a similar language.
