Emily Schirrer,

Emily Schirrer, a qualified translator and professional linguist, resides at the head of this young vibrant company providing efficient quality services for an ever growing market. Of Scottish and Welsh extraction, she completed her education in the United Kingdom before undertaking further studies and cultural ventures in Belgium and Germany. After a spell teaching English to young French pupils in Provence she went on to pursue further specialised undergraduate studies, and finally settled in Canada where she engaged in a post-graduate translation programme and followed intensive courses in the civil nuclear field. |

WordPro Global Translation was thus born in January 2007 in collaboration with prized associate and trained engineer, Raphaël Schirrer. |

Raphaël is of French origin and holds an important position in the company, not only as the administrator and company representative, but also regarding project management and professional input for expert terminological support. He knew very early on that he would specialise in the nuclear safety field, working initially as a consultant for the CEA in Cadarache. He then made the big move to Canada, where he now juggles performing safety analyses for Gentilly-2 nuclear power plant licensing, and providing vital support to the WordPro GT team. |
